As the pilot informed us over the intercom that we would shortly begin our decent into kuala lumpur international airport, I managed to catch a glimpse of lightning as it struck the horizon. My journey here was beginning. By this point, I had spent the better part of 16 hours in transition and thanks to the time zone, it had relatively taken me 23 hours to get here. As I write this I am currently trying to get some sleep so that I can readjust to this time zone, however my body clock and that of my laptop is telling me that it is only 5pm.
While driving to my hotel room, I had an interesting feeling of seeing sights and names that I recognised but didn’t know why. Tomorrow the hunt for an apartment begins as I hope to get one sorted by monday. Fingers crossed…
