A couple of weeks ago my friend and my sister came to visit me to celebrate my 27th Birthday. With their joint arrival, I decided to take a week off and travel somewhere with them. For my friend, Jon, it was his first time in Asia, and so I was keen to give him a wide range of truly Asian Experiences.
My birthday itself was celebrated in two stages, firstly as a meal with the office the night before, and then with my sister, Maulia and Jon in KL. It was a great chance to show them my new favourite bar, the Helipad, which offers unparalleled 360-degree clear view of KLCC. Also experienced that night was a sample of Malaysian food from Jalan Alor. In the end, my birthday was a completely different experience for myself also, compared to the wine and dine party I had for my 26th last year, which you can see here!
